You to the regional restaurant"Karczma Sabała" which is situated at the Krupówki street where you will be positively surprised not only by the most orginal layout with the main ornament - a hundred year old , wooden ceiling , beautiful fireplace and the sculpture of our patron - SABAŁY,but also harmoniously composed menu comprising classical dishes with the worldwide cuisine.
The unique atmosphere of this place is connected with the legend concerning this place, because its history dates back to 1894.

In June 2002 we gave the new part of our restaurant with 80 seats at your disposal. Both parts house max. 180 seats.
The additional advantage of our restaurant is the biggest terrase in Zakopane (200 square meters) situated by the most popular pedestrian zone - Krupówki. To those who like specialities of a regional cuisine we can recommend so called"moskole" - made according to the old recipe,"grule"(potatos) czy też rewelacyjną "patelnia bacowska" (lamb). "Sabałowa" proposal of"mocniejszej" stronger, is also very varied and surely can satisfy the most sophisticated tastes.


The meal made pass more pleasantly by the music of a folk band and nice and professional service will stay for a long time in your memory and will encourage you to the next visits in our restaurant.

"Goscina Zakopiansko" - smoked sheep's cheese, bacon and onion roasted together (very good)
Potato pancake with garlic dressing (or other)
Sliced sheep cheese served on the oak board
Sheep cheese roasted on the frying pan.
Warm dumplings with pork scratchings.
Sauerkraut soup with potato.
Traditional Polish soup made from fermented rye with an egg and white sausage.
Garlic soup with bread, could be with an egg.
Lamb leg.
Gicka jagniyńcia jak na sałasie.
Gicka jagniynco warzono po madziarsku, z paprykom i pomidorami.
"Sabala's micha" - knuckle of pork and , smoked sausage, bacon cooked with cabbage
Young geese roasted.
Trout straight from the stream roasted with butter.
Lenten fare - trout cooked with carrot and celeriac.
